Stepping into the Sacred Heart College of Lucena City, Inc. campus on July 24, all the way from Thailand was Sr. Maria Goretti Buakhan, DC, who was greeted by a vibrant wave of Philippine and Thai flaglets as she returned to the Cordian community.
While the the infrastructure of the campus has evidently changed since Sr. Goretti's last visit, its foundational spirit and core mission remains the same. The day prepared for the councilor was not simply just a tour, but an interplay of events to connect with tomorrow's change makers. She listened to raw dreams, ambitions, and advocacies of the youth represented by Cordian student leaders and Lay Mission Partners, each of them sharing their cross departmental love for service.
Sr. Goretti made the most out of her visit for she did not just inspire, she passed a souvenir of wisdom into the heart of the campus ensuring that the fire of selfless leadership will continue to burn bright in the next generation of Cordians.
