Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS)

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) is the study of concepts and theories, algorithmic foundations, implementation and application of information and computing solutions. It is the study of Information and Computer Technology, both hardware and software. The Computer Science Program at Sacred Heart College is not just devoted teaching the latest technology. The program prepares students to be IT Professionals and researchers, and to be proficient in designing and developing computing solutions.
The College of Computer Science started as a joint venture of the College of Accountancy in 1997 where Mr. Napoleon Lusterio headed its pioneer faculty members and students. The faculty of the college serviced the computer subjects for the IT and non-IT degrees as required by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). The College of Computer Science was separated from the College of Accountancy and officially became a single academic unit in 1998. In 2005, the College became a member of the Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS), a national student organization catering to computer enthusiasts coming from different schools.
