SHC-HED SPARKS A ‘CORDIAN CHRISTMAS’ IN SEM-ENDING GATHERING

Lucena City, QUEZON – Filling the air with the Christmas Spirit, Sacred Heart College of Lucena City, Inc. (SHC) celebrates its pivotal Sem-End event, the HED Club Moderators and Homeroom Advisers on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Perboyre Building, Old Audio-Visual Room.
The event convened from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, featuring a series of activities. An opening prayer marked the program’s start, followed by a welcoming address from Ms. Ma. Lina Peregrin and an energizer activity that hyped the participants before the talk.
Most of the program included presentations by Ms. Jasmine de la Cruz and Ms. Charito Aquitana. Ms. Dela Cruz addressed the Safe Spaces Act, emphasizing its role in safeguarding individuals from harassment within educational settings.
On the other hand, Ms. Aquitana followed with insights into the Anti-VAWC Law, which seeks to protect women and children from violence.
Following a health break, the Cordian moderators and advisers engaged in an open forum to discuss homeroom concerns and share insights related to the Student Activities, Development, and Discipline Office (SADDO). The gathering concluded with a rehearsal for the upcoming HED Paskordiano celebration, complemented by a complimentary lunch.
Emceed by Ms. Mila Arida and Mr. Raymond Pereyra, the event successfully reinforced the commitment of Cordian educators to uphold safe and inclusive learning environments.
