MJ Carlos, a campus journalist from The Heartbeat’s TV Scriptwriting and Broadcasting (TVSB) team, received an exclusive opportunity to tour the ABS-CBN newsrooms on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
The visit aimed to provide immersion in news production for TVSB Campus Journalists from Region IV-A CALABARZON, covering aspects from data gathering to story editing and airing.
The tour granted access to key news programs such as TV Patrol and Business Roadshow, allowing the students to observe firsthand the intricacies of news production.
They engaged in experiential activities and interviews with production staff and producers, culminating in a question and answer session with News Reporters Rafael Bosano and Jeff Canoy, along with program producers, providing valuable insights into the industry.
