Lucena City, QUEZON β Sacred Heart College of Lucena City, Inc. (SHC) proudly announces its remarkable performance in the Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) conducted on March 2024. Demonstrating commitment to academic excellence, SHC’s first-time takers for the elementary level achieved a 100% passing rate, with all 10 examinees successfully passing the examination. In the secondary level, 18 out of 20 first-time takers passed, achieving a 90% success rate.
Overall, SHC surpassed the national average, recording an 83.33% passing rate at the elementary level and an impressive 73.08% at the secondary level and adding 29 new Vincentian Cordian teachers to the educational landscape.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the national passing rate was 54.63% with 71, 429 passers out of 130, 744 takers. 46.67% for elementary teachers, with 20,890 out of 44,764 examinees passing, and 58.78% for secondary teachers, with 50,539 out of 85,980 examinees passing.
This achievement underscores SHC’s dedication to academic excellence and thorough teacher preparation. The college continues to produce qualified educators who contribute positively to the educational sector.
