Lucena City – The Sacred Heart College (SHC) community achieved a significant milestone in the Daughters of Charity – Saint Louise De Marillac Educational System (DC SLMES) songwriting competition.
The collaborative effort from SHC’s administrators, personnel, and students resulted in their song entry for the DC-SLMES Silver Jubilee. Dr. Maria Zorayda A. Torres penned the lyrics, while Mr. Lamberto B. Galleno composed the music. The SHC Chamber Singers, under Mr. Galleno’s direction, delivered the performance.
Key contributors included Dyanne Kyra J. Viñas, an HED student who prepared the storyboard, and coordinators Ms. Mylen Han, Ms. Beverly Africa, Ms. Hazel San Gil, and Carmelo Villanueva. The production team, led by Mr. Earl Gicana and Jose Emmanuel S. Glinoga, handled the filming with support from Dyanne Kyra J. Viñas, Lester C. Valenzuela, Benson M. Mengua, and Daniela Therese Sinuhin.
The achievement underscores SHC’s commitment to artistic expression and unity within the DC SLMES network. As the DC SLMES songwriting competition progresses, SHC’s entry highlights the institution’s dedication to community spirit and the power of music in conveying meaningful messages. The SHC community eagerly anticipates the competition’s results.
