More than six hundred two students from different schools in Quezon attended the 1st Interscholastic Information Technology Seminar with the theme “UNITE: UNifying IT Enthusiast Towards Global Competitiveness” and made their way to Sacred Heart College Gymnasium to be part of this event, which was held on Jan 18.
The IITS yielded to broaden the youth’s knowledge about IT fields and industry. This event centered on developing awareness and building capabilities among IT enthusiasts.
This event was spearheaded by BSCS Faculty and officers. Some of their objectives are to motivate individuals and hone abilities for international competence.
The program commenced with the representative of the keynote speaker, Gov. Raffy Nantes introduced by the OIC of College of Computer Science, Eleanor Marquez.

“This event is indeed essential for the benefit of our young IT Enthusiasts who are interested in taking up Computer Science so that they could also be updated about the advanced technology,” Morales said. All had enjoyed and had fun in listening to the speakers from various IT organizations and companies presenting their latest IT trends products.
The topics discussed in the said event were as follows: Introduction to Philippine Game Development, Latest IT Trends, Web Development and Multimedia, IT Career and Job Opportunities.
