Last January 18, 2008 a variety show presentation entitled “NURSING: THE OTHER SIDE “ was sponsored by the NURSING PARENTS FACULTY COUNCIL of Sacred Heart College in coordination with the STUDENT COUNCIL of the College of Nursing.

The 3 – showing presentation held at the Hermana Fausta Hall portrayed various talents of student, parents, teachers and alumni in singing, dancing and even talent in painting as presented in the different stage background shown during the entire presentation.

The objective of the presentation is to raise funds to support scholarship of poor but deserving students in Level III and IV who were forced to stop because of financial difficulty, especially at the middle of the semester. It is also a dream of the BSN PFC to sponsor poor but deserving students who wish to push through with their nursing course through the STUDY NOW-PAY LATER PROGRAM.

The College of Nursing and the Parents Faculty Council wished to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the parents, students, faculty alumni and friends who watched the show and supported their presentations. Heartfelt thanks are given also to the Sponsors who supported the objectives of the Program. We all know that the proceeds of the show is not sufficient enough to fully materialized the objective of the NURSING SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM thus the College still most welcome to accept donations coming from benevolent persons most especially the Nursing Alumni.
